we also greatly enjoyed the location of apartment as it's at a walking distance from downtown, nonetheless its beds were small. the setting was absolutely perfect and marvellous.

We had a great stay near a historic square, the Lake District, pubs, nearby shops, and the old town, and we loved having a private bathroom in the middle of the city.

It was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly loved the thoughtful touches like the bread, milk, cereal, and coffee machine provided. The owner was also extremely helpful and friendly, making sure I had everything I needed. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Dove Cottage.

One of the owners made a regrettable assumption about me and my partner, accusing me of being a drug dealer based on my casual attire. This incident cast a shadow over the rest of our stay as we felt constantly watched and judged.
