Hidden gem in a quiet corner of the historic district. Stylish and well-planned design. Not enough time to fully explore the area or enjoy the cozy cottage. Perfectly located for pubs and eateries. Great communication and thoughtful extras provided. Easy parking right outside. Spacious and welcoming layout. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay.

We had a great stay near a historic square, the Lake District, pubs, nearby shops, and the old town, and we loved having a private bathroom in the middle of the city.

My stay at Dove Cottage was absolutely fantastic! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the town. The apartment itself was beautiful, spacious, and had a homely feel to it. It was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly loved the thoughtful touches like the bread, milk, cereal, and coffee machine provided. The owner was also extremely helpful and friendly, making sure I had everything I needed. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Dove Cottage.
The only drawback I experienced was the size of the bed in the bedroom. It felt smaller than a double, and as someone used to a king-size bed, I found it a bit uncomfortable.

The location of this accommodation is ideal for those wanting to explore the Lake District. the apartment itself is well decorated and clean, with a kitchen that has everything you need to cook proper meals. Guests have mentioned the thoughtful extras provided, such as bread, milk, butter, and toiletries.
The parking situation can be a bit tricky, especially if there are already cars parked in the dedicated spot.

I recently stayed at Dove Cottage Annex for a weekend getaway and it was perfect. The location was great, right in the heart of the town, with easy parking right outside the front door. The apartment was beautiful - modern, clean, and deceptively spacious. The host was friendly and accommodating, and the little extras provided, like milk, bread, and toiletries, were a lovely touch. I highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely be back if I'm in the area again.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a great stay at Dove Cottage! The location was perfect, and I was able to park right in front of the door. The apartment was clean and modern, and I appreciated the extras like milk, bread, and toiletries that were provided. I would highly recommend this place.
The bed in the bedroom was a bit small and not very comfortable, but it might be fine for someone used to a double bed. Also, the parking situation was a bit stressful, but I was lucky to find a solution with a helpful family downstairs.

The location couldn't have been better. Right in the heart of town with easy access to shops, pubs, and eateries. The apartment itself was beautifully designed and had a contemporary feel to it. It was a peaceful spot tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the streets.
One of the owners made a regrettable assumption about me and my partner, accusing me of being a drug dealer based on my casual attire. This incident cast a shadow over the rest of our stay as we felt constantly watched and judged.
